In this summary i will develop different climates that are: tropical continental, the monsoon, equatorial and hot and cold desert.
The tropical continental is located in the central parts of continents away from coasts. It´s has wet and dry seasons. The wet season occurs when the sun is overhead the hemisphere. Furthermore, temperatures fall as cloud cover and rainfall increase. The dry season happen when the sun is overhead in the opposite hemisphere.
The monsoon have two seasons, the south-west and the north-east monsoon. The south-west it´s found extremely hot. On mountains it is a relief rainfall and hot air raises. An area of low pressure is formed and because of that is very warm. On the contrary, the north-east monsoon, during Winter is very cold so an area of high pressure is formed. It has a small amount of rain and at the end od the "dry" season there is risk of drought in some places.
On the other hand it´s the equatorial climate, were temperatures are high and constant throoghout the year. Equatorial areas have annual rainfall totals in excess of 2000mm. There is low pressure and heavy rains. An example is a place like Manaus that have two or three drier months when the sun is in the tropic of cancer. Because of the high humidity, lack of season change and a daily weather pattern, that have temperatures of about 25°C and 33°C.
At last, we have the hot desert temperatures are highest when the sun is overhead and lower when is on the opposite hemisphere. It is located most on the west coast of continents and coastal areas are colder. It has high anual temperatures and lack of rain, less tan 250mm of rain per year.
On cold climate, in winter are found strong winds that lower temperatures. Winter is very long, cold and dark. On the contrary summers are short but warm due to the long hours of daylight. It is far from influence of the sea.
